Yucca Valley Town council member Dawn Rowe announced at the Town Council meeting Tuesday night that she does not intend to run for re-election this fall. Rowe told Z107.7 that being on the Council takes an extraordinary amount of time, and now that her children are in junior and senior high school, she wants to focus her attention as a single parent on her children. Rowe said she is proud of her accomplishments of making the Town’s General Plan and Development Code consistent, simplified, and clear. She added that she is also proud of keeping invocations before Town Council meetings. Rowe said she still intends to continue her part-time work for Congressman Paul Cook.
