YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL MEETS: GRANTS, SENIOR HOUSING NAME AND MANAGER REMOVAL ORDINANCE

Among the items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council, the Council will be introduced to Miss Yucca Valley and her court, and recognize Sheriff’s Captain Rich Boswell, who is retiring in March. After the consent agenda, the Council will hold a public hearing on priorities for the Community Development Block Grant, hear a report on procedural guidelines, review name recommendations for the senior housing project, and deleting a portion of the Town ordinance concerning removal of the Town manager. Following the Town Council meeting, the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency will meet to approve a payment schedule for the Agency’s financial obligations. The meeting starts at 6:00 in the Yucca Room of the Community Center.
