YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR LEWD, DRUNKEN INCIDENT AT COMMUNITY CENTER

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday evening after he started harassing several girls at the Yucca Valley Community Center. According to a Sheriff’s report, Michael Clark, 43, was drunk and with his young son at the community center when he started touching the girls in an inappropriate manner. Boys who were with the girls at the time told Clark to stop, at which time he started cursing at them. Clark then tried to drive away, at which time, bystanders attempted to stop him from driving drunk. The report states Clark tried to punch one of the boys, who punched him in the face and knocked Clark to the ground. After an investigation, Michael Clark was arrested for lewd conduct, drunk in public, violation of parole, and felony child endangerment. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail and is being held without bail.
