A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday night after he choked his girlfriend during a fight. According to a Sheriff’s report, Robert Bolin, 48, of the 7500 block of Joshua Lane, pushed his girlfriend to the ground several times, then put her in a choke hold, causing her to nearly pass out about 10:30 p.m. The victim sustained several bruises and cuts from the assault. After an investigation, Robert Bolin was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, and on three charges from Butte County for violating his probation, making criminal threats, and resisting arrest. Robert Bolin was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his total bail set at $80,000.
