A Camarillo woman was hospitalized early Saturday morning for alcohol poisoning, following a crash in Yucca Valley in which she is suspected of driving under the influence. According to a Sheriff’s report, Eliana Luna, 24, crashed her gray Nissan Altima into a pole at the intersection of Highway 62 and Kickapoo Trail about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The report states that Luna’s blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was .305 and .308, nearly four times the legal limit. Eliana Luna was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center where she was cited and released so she could be treated for blood alcohol poisoning.
