SUPERVISORS FIELD REP. MIKE LIPSITZ RESIGNS FROM Z107.7 NEWS

Mike Lipsitz, honorary Mayor of Landers, chair of the Municipal Advisory Council, field representative for County Supervisor James Ramos, and reporter for Z107.7 News, has resigned his position with Z107.7 effective immediately. Lipsitz, who has been reporting for Z107.7 since 2009, said that in his new position at the County he didn’t want to give even the appearance of any conflict of interest. Lipsitz told Z107.7 he is “grateful” for his five years with the station, which have been “extraordinary and fulfilling on every level.” Z107.7 General Manager Cindy Daigneault wished Lipsitz well, saying, “Mike has been a valuable part of the Z107.7 News family and will be missed.”
