A RASH OF CAR BURGLARIES IN YUCCA VALLEY

Eleven vehicles in Yucca Valley were broken into Monday night-Tuesday morning. According to Sheriff’s reports, vehicles in the 7400, 8100, and 8200 blocks of Church Street, the 7500 block of Deer Trail, and the 56200 block of Joshua Drive, were all tampered with between midnight Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. Some had gas siphoned from their tanks, and some had items stolen out of the vehicles, and some had both. In addition, a bicycle was stolen from the yard on Deer Trail. Sheriff’s Sergeant James Porter says evidence leads deputies to believe the cases are all related. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.

There were also homes in Aztec M/H Park that were burglarized and attempted break-ins with residents AT HOME! It wasn’t limited just to vehicles.
