Recently, the developers of the Dollar General store planned for Joshua Tree appealed a court decision that favored opponents of the store, embodied by the Joshua Tree Downtown Business Alliance. (That decision directed San Bernardino County to proceed with an Environmental Impact Report that would address the store’s potential for contributing to blight.” The Joshua Tree Downtown Business Alliance has called for a community meeting on Thursday December 18, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Joshua Tree Community Center. The purpose of the meeting is to learn about the next steps to be taken in defending the “win” by the JTDBA.
