Copper Mountain College has joined forces with the Joshua Basin Water District to showcase drought-tolerant landscaping. A ground-breaking for five demonstration gardens will be held at 9 Monday morning at the water district’s office at 61750 Chollita Road in Joshua Tree. Funding for the demonstration gardens is provided by grants from the water district, the Bureau of Reclamation, the Mojave Water Agency, and the Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation.
