It’s all too easy to take clean water on demand for granted. It’s an eye-opening experience to learn how it gets to us. Managing Editor Karl Gardner tells us about an opportunity to do just that...
There is more to bringing water to your home than just turning on the tap. To help Hi Desert Water District customers learn more about water infrastructure, they are hosting a free tour of district facilities. During the tour, being held Tuesday, March 30, from 8:30 to 1, customers will have the opportunity to hear a detailed history, learn about finances and get an update on projects, including the Wastewater Project. Customers then will board a bus for a tour of District facilities, which includes a live leak repair. Seats are limited and fill-up fast.
