MORONGO VALLEY CSD GETS KUDOS

The Morongo Valley Community Services District was a top award winner at the fall California Special Districts Association conference held recently in Palm Springs. General Manager Donna Munoz and Fire Chief Jock Johnson accepted the award they won for Exceptional Public Outreach and Advocacy in small special districts. The award was based on the district’s special events. Munoz said, “It was a good day for Morongo Valley. The Chief and I are committed to bringing this community together and to reaching out to all segments of Morongo Valley. To be recognized out of the hundreds of small districts just felt great.”
