Keep children safe while enjoying time at the pool. Drowning accidents can be easily prevented and Safekids.org suggests steps toward accident prevention.

Constant adult supervision and teaching your child how to swim can mitigate chances of an accident. While noodles and floaty toys are fun for play, they are not safety tools. Use life jackets for weaker swimmers. For private pools, California law requires an enclosure separating the pool from the home or yard. Use self-latching gates away from children’s reach.
