HIGHWAY 62 ART TOURS

A great many of the Hi-Desert’s visual and performing artists will be a part of the 12^th Annual Hwy 62 Art Tours, set for the last two weekends in October. The art tour is a self-guided tour of more than 200 galleries, shops, homes, and private studios from MorongoValley to WonderValley. The tour starts with the west end of the Morongo Basin (Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Landers, Pioneertown, and Joshua Tree) October 19 and 20, and moves to the east end October 26 and 27 (Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms, and Wonder Valley). In addition, there’ll be poetry readings, live music, theater, and special arts events throughout the Basin both weekends. A collective exhibit of artists participating in the art tour will be held at the 29 PalmsArtGallery, October 2 through the 28. The art tour’s launch party is aT Zircon Wish Circus on Saturday, October 19. YuccaValley will host a gourd festival October 19 and 20.
