DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN YUCCA VALLEY

A Yucca Valley man was arrested after he beat up his girlfriend Friday. According to a Sheriff’s report, witnesses said Randy Camerer, 28, of the 7300 block of Sage Avenue, bit his girlfriend’s chin, and choked her in front of her young children about 8:30 a.m. Thursday. When deputies arrived, Camerer tried to flee, but they were able to detain him, at which time, deputies said he threatened that he would beat up the victim when he was released from jail. After an investigation, Randy Camerer was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
