CLEAN-UP DAY IN TWENTYNINE PALMS TOMORROW

A Twentynine Palms Cleanup Day is set for Saturday, May 10, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Community Services Center parking lot across from Luckie Park. Items that will be accepted, free of charge, at the drop-off site include household trash in bags (no garbage), scrap metal, appliances, tires (limit of four rimless tires), and mixed recycling such as paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, and cardboard. Electronics will also be accepted, including computer monitors and televisions. Residents with large loads (trucks with trailers) and green yard waste should bring their trash to the Twentynine Palms Transfer Station, 7501 Pinto Mountain Road. Charges will be applied as usual. Household hazardous waste such as motor oil, paint, insecticides, and batteries will not be accepted at the cleanup site.

Clarification – The FREE Twentynine Palms Cleanup Day drop-off site is located at the Community Services Center parking lot, 74325 Joe Davis Drive off Utah Trail, across from Luckie Park, from 8 to noon. Bring everything there! (The transfer station is not offering a free dump day this year, and they won’t take large items.)
