10/6-7	12th Annual Orchid Festival Held at Gubler Orchids, 2200 Belfield Blvd., Landers Saturday 10am-5 pm and Sunday 10am-3pm. This is a fundraising event to benefit The Boys & Girls Club of the Hi Desert, among many other organizations. Great food, live music, classes and kid's activities. 10/6	9th Annual Buzzard Run 8K Race day registration begins at 6:30am. Race begins at 8am. Route starts in Old Town Yucca Valley and goes up Pioneertown Road and back.
