Artist Reception at Tumbleweed Photos. Elouise
Barrus. 3-5 p.m. Elouise Barrus brings an eclectic background to her
watercolor artistry. Watercolor glazing is the art of layering
washes of color, to create vivid and stylized renderings of animals
in nature, floral landscapes and revealing portraits. Elouise's art
palette includes, watercolor, ceramic neckaces, Southwestern Gourds
and metal sculpture. Her families' involvement in architecture and
engineering provides a grounding in design fundamentals. Her dad, a
retired architect and accomplished watercolorist and her husband
Robert's welding skill and engineering expertise are the tapestry
underlying Elouise's art. Elouise has been seriously producing fun
works of art since retiring from 25 years as a substitute teacher.

Monday-Friday and 10-2 pm Saturday. The studio and gallery is
