ATTEMPTED STABBING IN LANDERS SUNDAY EVENING

A Landers man was arrested Sunday evening after he tried to stab someone with a knife. According to a Sheriff’s report, after Brian Grajkowski, 50, made a crude comment about a woman, he was told to stop talking like that and to leave the property in the 7800 block of Geronimo Trail. Grajkowski then went into his trailer and came out with two knives. One witness reported that Grajkowski held the knife to a woman’s throat and told her not to threaten him. The Sheriff’s deputy reports that Grajkowski told him he “made a bad decision” and should have stayed inside his trailer. Brian Grajkowski was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
