29 PALMS MAN SUSPECTED OF NUMEROUS “DOOR-KICK” BURGLARIES

Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man who is suspected to be responsible for up to 20 residential burglaries. Deputy Scott Andrews said during the past month, multiple “door kick” style residential burglaries and attempted burglaries have occurred within the City of Twentynine Palms. The suspect would kick open the front door to residences, causing hundreds of dollars in damage and theft of property. Several of these attempted burglaries occurred when the occupants were home. Wednesday night 10:49, sheriff’s deputies responded to the 6400 block of West Court Way in the City of Twentynine Palms, the victim, Ttomona Austin, reported their front door had just been kicked in by a subject who then fled on foot. During the course of the investigation, deputies contacted Allen “A.J.” Sins at Cactus Drive and Oasis Ave. Evidence was discovered linking Sins to the “door kick” on West Court Way, as well as approximately 20 other residential burglaries and attempt burglaries. A.J. Sins was arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin jail for investigation of attempted residential burglary, with bail set at $25,000. Additional charges are expected to be filed against Sins.
